Andrew Buss, JD., MBA
Prior to working as a real estate agent, Andrew enjoyed a successful career as an attorney handling real estate, business, and litigation matters, including real estate transactions, eminent domain/condemnation cases, and commercial loan workouts. He also worked abroad as a professor teaching legal courses to French law students at the Université D’Auvergne, École de Droit in Clermont-Ferrand, France. He holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. His legal background and experience helps Andrew provide excellent service to his clients, including in matters related to contracts and negotiations – two key aspects of any real estate transaction.
Andrew understands that buying or selling a home is a very substantial and emotionally involved transaction that requires the utmost level of diligence and care from an agent. With that in mind he approaches each client as an advocate, advisor, educator, and friend. He works very hard and believes that operating in an ethical and straight forward fashion is a fundamental principle of the real estate business. He understands that residential real estate is a dynamic and highly nuanced field, especially in the Los Angeles area where there are many unique sub-markets, and he works hard to stay abreast of the market trends.
Andrew grew up in the Detroit suburbs and brings a Midwest work ethic to the business. He has a true appreciation for the LA climate and all it offers. He played golf in college and continues to play whenever he can. He enjoys many other activities including running, paddle tennis, biking, and anything else outdoors.
